  In another review I did on this site I said that Fairways and Country grocer we're the only two locally owned stores and I was so wrong. I don't know how I forgotten about the market on Yates. This tiny chain of stores is owned by one of the pioneers of supermarkets in Victoria. They seem to have very high quality items generally speaking. Their meat and their fresh vegetables are hard to beat. With all this great quality, of course, prices will also be high so this is not for those on a budget. It is worthwhile though to watch their Flyers because they do have some good specials sometimes.
