  Why are they now serving wraps containing GLUTEN if the place is called “gluten free”? It seems to have changed ownership and the current operators don’t seem to have much idea. People with celiac can’t take a chance here now — a shame, it used to be very reliable.

  I can’t comment on the cafe itself as we ordered from Skip the Dishes, but I can comment on the food. I ordered a tuna melt with a side of soup de jour. I was less than impressed. My melt was stone cold when it arrived but my soup was hot so I can only assume that it sat out while the rest of the food was being made. When I went to eat it I found a hair embedded underneath the “Swiss cheese,” which tasted identical to a single’s slice, so basically just processed plastic. As a bakery you would think that you might at least be able to invest in some real cheese. My melt was essentially inedible so I decided to stick to the soup. It wasn’t labeled so I don’t know what it was but it was kind of sweet so I figured it was some kind of coconut curry. It lacked flavour so I had to add salt. When I saw the menu I had such high hopes because everything sounded delicious and the menu was small. I am really disappointed. Maybe I just ordered a less than stellar menu item but I don’t think we will be ordering again for a while.
