  While I appreciate the quality of the jewellery and standards of the services offered at this shop, I felt put off by one of the staff member's attitude towards me when I came in. I was on a budget, and explained to the staff member that my body was not sensitive to any particular metal, and that I wanted to know what the cheapest pieces they had in were. I was told that cheap wasn't a word that they liked to use, and a thorough explanation of why their jewellery was priced so high- it's as though he was on the defensive about their price points and had had the same conversation with perhaps some prickly people. I understood, told the gentleman so, but explained that normally I would be paying ~$50 and so while wanting to upgrade, was looking at their most inexpensive options. As he was showing me the lower price options, he kept explaining the value of the metals used by making jibes at other qualities of jewellery. He said as a selling point at one point "then you don't have to tell people they're from Claires" as if one should feel ashamed to wear cheaper jewellery. I was wearing mostly inexpensive jewellery and felt almost like I got dissed after I left the store, so focused the man was on how crappy cheap jewellery was, despite me explaining how I haven't personally had any trouble with cheaper metals. Get pierced here for sure, they are clean and professional. The ladies have been lovely to me on my visits. But don't gape at their prices, lest you get told!
